Caroline Munn…..

Heavily influenced by a multicultural background in Africa, which has inspired a richness of colour, form, and movement in her works. It is a land of soul, colour and culture and she expresses this through figurative creations and dramatic extensions of form.

These works are a celebration of movement, freedom of the soul and inner strength.

“I have a strong passion for the artistic world, as I have a background in Architecture and Interior Design in Cape Town, South Africa and now in Queensland. I am currently working as an Interior Designer in Brisbane, enjoying the industry as it exposes its possibilities for creating spaces of experience.

Everything and everyone is designed, everything is thought out and then made a reality. I visualise every piece in my mind before it comes to life. My art is an expression of the freedom everyone longs for deep inside, and that if you visualise something enough it will become a reality. Artwork has great influence on one’s moods. I get such a great sense of freedom from painting and it is my hope that people will lose themselves into my work, and feel that spirit fill them up.”
