I've been painting women of all shapes and sizes for the past 15 years.
I'm as inspired to paint them today as i was the day i started.

Decended from a line of recognised artists, Robert Rhackam - British Illustrator, Albert Taylor - Sculptor of brisbane's
Customs House and father Neville Male EFIAP FAPS SSAP - world acclaimed photographer, Symone Male BVA Hons is a
practicing artist specialising in the fields of oil painted figurative portraiture and both traditional and experimental photography.

Symone Started her art career at an early age showing her first painting at the Caboolture City Council Chambers at the age of
6 years. Since 1978 she has shown her work regularly in Qld, NSW and Vic.

In 1995 Symone won the 'Best Exhibitor Award' at 'Perc Tucker Gallery', in 1999 was mentioned in the publication 'NOW-Emerging
Artists in Qld' by the Institue of Modern Art and in 2003 won the 'People's Choice Award' at the prestigious 'Kings Art Show' in parramatta in NSW.
